Looks like Google has fallen out of favor in Germany…again…the country has broken off talks with the company regarding the legality of Google Analytics and its ability to track users’ IP addresses [WSJ]

Speaking of collecting data – I’m sure we’ve mentioned Spokeo in the past, but its a company that collects personal information about users and sells it to marketers/advertisers…and unfortunately, there’s nothing you can currently do to stop it… [TechCrunch]

The Supreme Court recently decided to hear a health data privacy case that could have some impact on the online privacy debate. The case concerns the sale of health data, and pharma and data-mining companies are trying to argue that doing so constitutes commercial – and thus – free speech, the restriction of which would be unconsitutional… [paidcontent.org]
